Day 1 (09:00-18:00) 9 hours
09:00 – 10:00 – Meet your guide at the passenger terminal. City tour. You will see the Winter Palace, residence of the Russian tsars, St. Isaac's square, the Spilled Blood church, Kazan cathedral, the Admiralty, University, Point of Bazil Island, Egyptian Sphinxes, Menshikov palace, Academy of Fine Arts, the Bronze Horseman. You will see the main squares and architectural ensembles of the city, beautiful bridges and Neva river embankments. You will make photo stops at the most beautiful places.
10:00 – 11:30 – Drive to Kronstadt - the city of Russian naval glory
11:30– 12:30 – Tour of Kronstadt, visit of the Naval cathedral of St. Nickolas. Kronstadt was founded in 1704 as a marine outpost. It Is situated 30 km from St. Petersburg on the small Kotlin island in the easten part of the gulf of Finland. It is included into UNESCO's list the world cultural heritage as the monument of fortification. The gem of Kronstadt is the Naval Cathedral - the largest naval cathedral in Russia and the main church of the Russian Navy
12:30– 13:30 - Lunch
13:30 – 14:15 – Drive back to the city
15:00 – 16:30 – Visit of Yusupov palace - one of the most luxurial noble mansions. Some mysterious pages of the Russian history are connected with it. On 17 December 1916 legendary Grigory Rasputin, who had a huge influence on the Royal family, was was savagely assassinated there. You will see the exposition dedicated to the murder of Rasputin
16:30 – 17:20 – Free time, walking along Nevsky prospect, visit of the famous Eliseev grossery shop to admire its illumination and variety of food offers, St. Petersburg courtyards-wells.
18:00 – You are back at your ship
18:30 - Check out our evening program: ballet, opera, folk show (optional)
Day 2 (09:00-16:30) 7,5 hours
09:00 – 10:30 – Meet your guide at the passenger terminal. Visit of the farmer's market, supermarket and one or two metro pavilions
11:00 – 12:00 – Tour of the Hermitage Impressionists collection. This unique collection is located in the General Staff buiding designed as Modern Art museum. This is one of the largest coiiections of art of French impressionists and post-impressionists. It consists of more than 850 works of art. You will injoy masterpieces by Claude Monet, Piere- August Renoir, Pablo Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, Camille Pissarro, Edgar Degas, Paul Gauguin and other artists.
12:30– 13:30 – Tour of the Summer garden, the oldest garden of the city. You will see beautiful sculptures, fountains and park pavilion
13:30– 14:30 - Lunch
14:45 – 15:45 – Inside Tour of the Faberge museum with audio guides. The world's largest collection of works by Carl Faberge is located in Shuvalov Palace in the center of Saint-Petersburg. The collection includes nine Easter eggs created for Russian Emperors and other masterpieces made by Carl Faberge workshop for Romanov Imperial family, noble people and members of the European Monarchical courts.
